United Methodist Women (UMW)

Purpose of the UMW
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; develop a creative, supportive fellowship, and expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

United Methodist Women is the group of women in each congregation organized for mission. Local units relate directly to district and conference organizations of United Methodist Women and the Women's Division of the General Board of Global Ministries.

Members of the UMW have a choice of 4 circles. Circles meet September through June. All the members of the four circles enjoy friendship and fellowship as they respond to the mission needs of the Women's Society and the special projects that a part of each calendar year. Membership is open to any woman who indicates her desire to belong and to participate in the outreach mission of the church through the organization. General Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of February, May, September, and December at the church.
 
Mary Helen Circle
Meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 10 am in the Christian Education Building at the church

This new circle began with a "Meet and Greet" on Thursday, October 22, 2009.
Meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7 pm in the Christian Education Building.
