General Meeting It's a Christmas Party! All ladies of the church are encouraged to join us December 2nd @ 6:30 in the fellowship room. Reservations are not needed - just come and enjoy food and entertainment. A meeting will follow. Come and see what UMW is about - we'd love to have you join us. Purpose of the United Methodist Women - The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; develop a creative, supportive fellowship, and expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. United Methodist Women is the group of women in each congregation organized for mission. Local units relate directly to district and conference organizations of United Methodist Women and the Women's Division of the General Board of Global Ministries. |

Members of the UMW have a choice of 3 circles. Circles meet September through June. All the members of the three circles enjoy friendship and fellowship as they respond to the mission needs of the Women's Society and the special projects that a part of each calendar year. Membership is open to any woman who indicates her desire to belong and to participate in the outreach mission of the church through the organization. General Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of February, May, September, and December at the church. Mary Helen Circle - Meets monthly on the first Tuesday of each month at 10:00 am in the Christian Education Building at the church. Call Jean Holloway (704-545-9042). Jenny Summerour Circle - Meets monthly on the second Tuesday at 7:00 pm in a member's home or the Christian Education Building at the church. Call Barbara Dickinson (704-545-5262). Friendship Circle - Meets monthly on the second Tuesday at 7:00 pm in a member's home or in the Christian Education Building. Call Carol Robinson (704-545-5726). Our undesignated giving supports mission personnel around the world.
