Children are integral to the vibrant community at Blair Road United Methodist Church, actively participating in our church life, focusing on faith development, worship, missions, intergenerational opportunities, and fellowship. The relationships they build today lay the foundation for their journey as devoted disciples of Christ.

On Sunday mornings, our nursery welcomes infants to 4-year-olds from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, with small groups for Kindergarten through 4th graders at 10:00 am, exploring the Bible through crafts and storytelling.

Annual events include Blessing of the Backpacks, 3rd Graders receiving Bibles, Community Trunk of Treats, Christmas Nativity Story presentation, Palm Sunday Parade, Vacation Bible School, children-led worship services, Petting Zoo visits, Mission Camp for 5th and 6th graders, and Family Devotion Kits.

Engaging in various community mission activities, from Reverse Trick or Treating to supporting local schools, our focus changes yearly. Children actively contribute to worship through readings, prayers, and plays.

Intergenerational connections thrive with events like Lunch and Bingo for Seniors, church-wide picnics, and Bingo nights. Prioritizing safety, all adults undergo screening before volunteering.
