Traditional Service
Join us in the Sanctuary at 8:45 AM

"Make a joyful noise to the Lord, come before His presence with singing, Psalm 100:1-2".

The music, setting, preaching and liturgy make
this service
an inspirational experience based on the
foundations of the church.

Each Sunday, we celebrate the wondrous things
our God has done and continues to do for us.

Through traditional hymns and anthems we honor
our Lord as Methodists have for centuries.

No Matter which service you attend, we have no dress code, as God does not care what you have on as long as you are in his house!

God smiles every time he sees a new face in church!

BRUMC CHANCEL CHOIR
Directed by David Hodges, and accompanied by Rita Mabes, the chancel choir is open to high school students and above.  The chancel choir rehearses from 7-8:15 pm on Wednesdays year-round to prepare choral music for the 8:45 traditional service.  A variety of music is performed ranging from classical composers such as Haydn and Handel, to more current Christian composers like Dan Forrest and Michael W. Smith.  The chancel choir performs a full Christmas Cantata each year accompanied by professional musicians from around the Charlotte area.  To join, contact the church office

BRUMC Handbell Choir
The handbell choir is directed by David Hodges and rehearses from 6:15-7 pm on Wednesdays from September-May.  The handbell choir performs monthly during the 8:45 traditional service.  Handbells are unique in that no prior singing ability is necessary to partake, although some knowledge of note-reading is helpful.  Only a short tutorial is needed to begin making music.  Handbells add a special and distinct sound to traditional worship music.  The handbell choir is open to high school students and above.
