Drive Through Trunk or Treat!
Oct. 28-29, 5:30-7
WE NEED YOUR TRUNK!
The more trunks we have the better! Get here by 5:00, if you can, open your trunk and get ready to have some fun!
Decorating your trunk is optional but you can go as crazy or as simple as you would like. We are doing two nights but you don’t have to, do one or both!
Folks will drive through for their candy and we have a great photo booth planned!
Call the church at 704-545-6785 or email
to let us know what night(s) you
would like to do a trunk.
We will be taking every precaution (wearing masks) to make this a safe AND fun event for our community!
Can’t Do a Trunk? Bring a bag of candy to help those that are doing a trunk. We will need a lot of candy so your help would be appreciated!
Call Lynn Smith for more information at: 704-545-6785

Inclement weather notification plan
We will post any cancellation due to inclement weather on our website, social media and by phone message at (704) 545-6785 no later than 7:00 AM on Sunday morning. This will be our plan as long as we have outdoor services. Of course, we will continue to offer our pre-recorded worship video each Sunday.
This is a particularly tough time for folks living in nursing and rehab facilities. They haven’t been able to see family or friends for 5 months! In most cases they are not able to socialize with fellow residents because they are quarantined to their room. Wouldn’t it be great to give them a little pick me up every week in the form of an uplifting card? If you would like to be a part of this ministry please do the following:
Make or buy cards (don’t forget to get some that are male appropriate). Include an uplifting verse and an uplifting message. It doesn’t need to be long. Include all the members of your family in this activity. Include pictures if you are comfortable. Include your pets if you don’t want to send family pictures.
Drop them off in the wooden box located outside the Sanctuary or bring them to Drive-In church on Sunday mornings.
We will drop them off at our area nursing facilities.
September Mission Focus Grocery Store Gift Cards
Thank you for the amazing support of our ONE 7 Ministry in August. At this time we have collected over$1,000 in donations!
This month we are focusing on the food needs of our community. Because our schools are not open, we are focusing on providing grocery store gift cards that can be distributed by Servants Heart and school counselors. If you would like to purchase a gift card and bring it to the church or, make a donation to sponsor a card,
please mark your donation “gift cards”.
No amount is too small.
We also want to know if there is need in our church community. If you have a need, or you know of someone that has need, please let Lynn Smith (704-545-6785) know.
Welcome to our church! We would be thrilled to have you join our community as we celebrate and renew our lives together through praise and worship, activities, fellowship, mission projects and more. There is a place here for everyone! So let us help you find what you might be looking for!
